NASSAU BAY, Texas — A body matching the description of a man reported missing from Montgomery County was discovered Wednesday afternoon in Clear Creek’s Cow Bayou area, according to the Nassau Bay Police Department (NBPD).

The body was found during a search operation conducted by both the Nassau Bay Police and Fire Departments. The search was part of an ongoing effort to locate 30-year-old Milton Menjivar, Jr., who had been reported missing by his family to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.

Menjivar’s family said they last heard from him on Thursday, January 30. He was last seen in person around 5 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at David Braun Park near Lake Nassau. A witness reported having a brief conversation with Menjivar that morning, and his car was later found abandoned nearby. Authorities also noted that Menjivar’s phone had been turned off shortly after he was last seen.

NBPD confirmed that Menjivar’s family has been notified about the discovery.

“We ask that you keep Milton Menjivar’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” the department said in an official statement.

At this time, the cause of death has not been determined, and an investigation is ongoing.
