BACLIFF, Texas – The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office has identified two teenagers as persons of interest in the suspicious death of a Bacliff woman. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in gathering information related to the case.

Investigation Underway After Woman Found Dead

The investigation began on Thursday at around 11 p.m. when deputies responded to a home at 4723 15th Street in Bacliff. A close friend of the woman had contacted authorities after being unable to reach her.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered the woman dead inside her home. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit were called in to conduct a thorough investigation.

“Investigators discovered evidence indicating foul play,” the sheriff’s office stated.

Two Teenagers Identified as Persons of Interest

Authorities have named 18-year-old Uriah Ureck and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Tara King, as persons of interest in the case. While they have not been officially charged, investigators are actively pursuing leads to determine their connection to the woman’s death.
