Next Steps:                          
A. City Clerk completes the Development Permit form, enters the application in the LOG and then passes all forms in one folder to the Building Inspector.                          
1. A copy of the application is kept in the City Hall 10-day tickler file.                          
B. Building Inspector reviews applications, checks against ordinances and may inspect the physical property.                          
1. May consult with applicant and/or City Officials to reach a conclusion to Grant/Deny a Permit.                          
2. If the Permit is granted the folder is returned to the City Clerk who will asign the Permit Number, notify the Applicant and distributes copies as per                          
C. below.                          
3. In the event of Denial, the Applicant is informed by personal contact.

D. Permits expire 6 months from date of issue.                          
1.  A maximum of 2 Extensions is allowed, each with a 6-month validity.                          
2. Extensions expire 12 months and 18 months from the original date of issue, respectively, regardless of the date applied for.                          
E. Additional Permits may be required depending on specific circumstances, for example:                          
Certificate of occupancy                          
LCRA Septic System                          
Right of Way & Road Cuts & Bores.                          
Construction without a residence cannot be authorized but requires a Variance Hearing
