Since 1992 the CCAA has been the sponsor of the Neighborhood Community Watch and Citizens Patrol. In May 1996 a Lake Watch Boat Patrol was added. Again, all of this is done by volunteers at no expense to the taxpaying property owners. Join in; watch your neighbor’s property; report anything out of the ordinary to your neighborhood Watch captain or to the Police, or to City Hall.
CCAA also participates in the “Adopt a Highway” program with Sunrise Beach residents pick up litter along RR 2233 all the way from RR 2900 to SR 71. The Sunrise Beach Volunteer Fire Department has taken responsibility for RR 2223 from RR 2900 to the end in Sunrise Beach. Be a good neighbor by being part of the solution rather than the part of the problem!
CCAA also operates a “distress committee” who’s members offer help to neighbors at times of grief. This is a symbol of the spirit of our community!
